SWM FAQ
The tool requires minimal computer specifications and will run on any Windows PC, only requiring access to Pronto.

The configuration is simple and only a small amount of information is needed. Any change in configuration is rare and can be easily completed by the users themselves.

All data is able to be copied out of the tool and into other programs. Additionally, every page has been sized and formatted to accommodate printing.
The tool includes the ability to split work orders over multiple days and multiple shifts. However, this functionality is not standard in Pronto, so the additional information cannot be imported back into the system.
The work order listing can be filtered by any field, including Type, Priority, Status, and Labour Type. Any fields included in a Pronto Selective Work Order Enquiry can be filtered on.
The company name and logo are part of the initial configuration and will show on all pages of tool.
Employee rosters are part of the initial configuration and can be updated as required. Once-off changes to availability such as sick leave and annual leave can also be made when necessary. Additionally, importing rosters directly from external sources is supported.
Yes. In addition to rostered employees, temporary contractors can also be added into the tool. If a significant number of contractors are required then only one set of information will need to be configured for each type of contractor.
After configuration, the tool recognises their associated labour types and identifies them as resources. The availability of these resources can be entered on a day-by-day basis.
SWM allows the scheduler to see resource demand from other departments. These resources can then be scheduled into a plan. SWM also produces daily and weekly reports that show the resource demand in a work order listing over the scheduled departments.
